Our role as educators reminds us that every opportunity is a learning opportunity! Please meet our amazing team!
*Please note: While each staff has a primary program where they work, we believe in bringing our team together by participating in every program! SO you may see any of these lovely humans in any of our 4 programs!

Abraham- CCA
Hello My name is Abraham Eguevoi, and I'm a Childcare Assistant here at Wawanesa Daycare.
I've always been passionate about education, especially when it comes to young minds. In fact, I spent a good portion of my life in Benin City, Nigeria, where I used my skills to teach computer programs to children.
Now, living in Brandon with my family, I'm thrilled to be part of a team that provides such a vital service at Wawanesa Daycare. I truly believe children are our future, and the experiences they have in daycare can have a lasting impact on their lives and the world around them.
While my background might be in science and engineering, my current focus is on making sure every child at Wawanesa Daycare has a fun and enriching experience.

Brynn -CCA
Hello! My name is Brynn Cullen. I work mainly in Kids Club, if not, jumping around all of the programs- which I love because they are all so unique and fun in their own ways! I started part time with Wawanesa Wee Care in 2021 and have been here ever since. I grew up in Wawanesa, but I am currently going to college in the US and playing softball. I am studying psychology and hope to become a child counsellor! During my summers in Wawanesa I am full time at the daycare. In my free time I love camping, being with friends and family, and travelling! I love working at the daycare because everyday is a new adventure. My favourite part about summers at Wawanesa Wee Care is spending hours outside adventuring or getting messy, (water activities outside are my favourite!) I love the look the kiddos get on their faces when they are proud of something they have done- such as crafting, zipping up their jacket, or even opening their snacks on their own!

Zoe-CCA Toddler Program
My name is Zoe Versteege and I am apart of a family of 9 being the middle child. I enjoy a balanced life filled with creativity, companionship, and comfort. I typically spend my days after work creating art, drawing inspiration from my surroundings and personal experiences. I enjoy spending as much time as I can with my family, going for walks, or reading during my alone time. I also have a passion for shaping young minds!
I began my career working with children back in August of 2022. Since then, I’ve learned so much about working with children. I do find myself bringing my creativity to work with me sometimes! Whether this means encouraging art and creativity with the children, or spending time outside and letting the children notice the joys of nature! I enjoy combining art and learning, encouraging children's creativity while subtly teaching them about colours, shapes, and textures. I often try to design engaging and interactive art projects suitable for young children. creating a safe and supportive environment where children feel free to express themselves artistically is so positive for the children’s imagination! |
